Tirumala Navaratri Brahmotsavams: Mesmerising Tirumala Swami in Three Avatars on the Sixth Day
Wednesday, the sixth day of Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams was held very enthusiastically with Swami and his two wives Sridevi and Bhuma Devi, decorated with unseen and precious ornaments and blessed devotees in three gigantic vahanams the same day. On October 21, 2020, Swami was taken to seva in Hanumatha Vahanam in the morning.
Lord Balaji took the form of Lord Rama along with his wife Sita Devi and Brother Lord Laxmana, blessed devotees in the Hanumantha Vahana, which was a wonderful moment for devotees’ eyes. The Hanumatha Vahana seva was observed in Ekantham at Kalyanotsava Mantapam inside the Tirumala temple due to COVID-19 restrictions. Lord Rama sent a message to his devotees that those who were humble and surrendered them completely to him were always be blessed by him.
When the morning seva went on with glory, Swami blesses his devotees in Pushpaka Vimanam in the guise of Govardhana Krishna Swamy, in the evening. This year being an Adhikamasa, Lord Balaji, in the form of Lord Krishna, appeared in the Pushpaka Vimana, with Hanumantha and Garuda on both sides of the God, respectively. This seva is believed to happen once in three years, and it happens inside the Tirumala temple like every time it happens.
The Vimanam weighed around 750kgs and was decorated with 150kgs of traditional flowers like jasmine, kanakambaram, lily, marigold, roses and scented leaves. Other than Anjaneya Swamy and Garuda, the Vimananm had Ashtalakshmis were in the centre and elephants and parrots in the second layer.
The day came to an end with Lord Venkateshwara taking ride on Gaja Vahanam, which is an official consort of Swami’s wife Goddess Padmavathi Devi. Later in the evening, all the vahanams were positioned in the Kalyana Mantapam asusual and the deities were set back in their original places.
